Welcome to Pacific Research Online!
Pacific Research Online is a database of all Pacific research expertise mainly based within New Zealand universities. It does not include Pacific research expertise located outside of the university environment in New Zealand such as crown research institutes or government agencies. It is based on self reported information provided in response to a questionnaire sent to all New Zealand universities in 2005, and information obtained from New Zealand university websites. Some changes have taken place since the information was collected and some of the academics listed have since left New Zealand. Where this has happened, all efforts have been made to accurately list where they are located now.
We invite you to use Pacific Research Online to search for a wide range of subject matters, publications, scholars, and research projects related to the Pacific region.
The database aims to offer up-to-date contact information for all scholars and research areas listed. However if you come across any information that is no longer relevant please notify the Pacific Cooperation Foundation. Similarly, please notify us if you are aware of any relevant information that has been omitted from this database. This database will undergo routine maintenance including a record updating process twice a year. Your assistance with any new information will help to ensure that the contents of this facility remain relevant and useful.
